Our Journey
Our story begins with Kayla Houk, Off The Vine’s Owner and Head Chef, whose passion for crafting charcuterie boards evolved into a journey of cooking for her hometown of Hanford, California, using fresh, locally sourced, nutrient-rich ingredients.
When Kayla established Off The Vine in 2021, her vision was resolute: to provide Hanford with a haven of fresh, vibrant dining choices. Our menu features an array of offerings, from bountiful salads and hearty sandwiches to flavorful wraps, delectable appetizers, and satisfying breakfast options.
Off The Vine extends its hospitality beyond our walls, offering full-service catering and convenient pickup options for a variety of occasions. Our catering menu includes thoughtfully curated packages—from hors d'oeuvres and premium charcuterie boards to exceptional grazing tables—all made with ingredients sourced from local partners like Food 4 Thought, Avila and Sons, and many other Central Valley farms.
We’ve proudly catered hundreds of events and have become recognized throughout the Central Valley, earning honors such as “Best of Central Valley” in the Sandwich, Salad, and Lunch Spot categories.
In early 2025, Off The Vine moved to a beautiful new location on Seventh Street in downtown Hanford. With more space to gather, connect, and celebrate, we’re excited to continue serving the community with the same heart, hospitality, and commitment to fresh, local flavor that started it all
